Looking to list new inventory instead? Then please refer to this guide.
Crosslist allows you to cross list your inventory between marketplaces using two different methods:
Direct cross listing lets you cross list inventory directly between marketplaces, without the need of the Crosslist web application.
To accomplish this, Crosslist automatically injects action buttons into the listing page and listing overview of each supported marketplace:

This is the preferred approach if you want to list quickly on other marketplaces without making any modifications to your listings, such as adding images or changing the description.
Importing and posting on the other hand, is designed to first import your listings into the Crosslist application, after which they can be posted on other marketplaces using the Crosslist web application.
This is the preferred approach if you want to make modifications to your listings before cross listing on other marketplaces.
Some typical modifications include:
- Adding or removing images from your listing
- Shortening or lengthening the description
- Completing extra fields that are present on the marketplaces you want to list, such as tags
- Using the built-in image editor to beautify your image
- …
You can find a step-by-step guide on how to cross list using both approaches below. In both guides, we will simulate cross listing from Mercari to Poshmark and Depop.
Direct cross listing
Step 1: Navigate to the listing overview
The first step is to navigate to the listing overview of the marketplace you want to cross list from. In our example, this is Mercari:

Step 2: Select the listings you want to cross list
Now, select the listings that you want to cross list to Poshmark and Depop. You can do this by clicking the tickbox present in each listing:

CONSIDERATIONS
This feature is only available for users with a Silver subscription or higher. Users with a Bronze subscription can direct cross list each listing individually by navigating to the listing detail page.
In addition to that, this feature is also not available for Facebook Marketplace. Users can direct cross list each listing individually by navigating to the listing detail page as well.
Alternatively, you can also cross list directly from the listing detail page:

Step 3: Select the marketplaces on which you want to list
After selecting your listings, click the Cross list products button. This will open a pop-up where you can select the marketplaces on which you want to list.
Select the marketplaces on which you want to list your product, and then click the Post button to proceed. In our example, we want to cross list on Poshmark and Depop, so we select those marketplaces:

After clicking the button, your browser will automatically open new tabs, one tab for each marketplace you’ve selected.
In these tabs, Crosslist will automatically complete the listing form with the correct product information.
Step 4: Review the completed form
Navigate to each tab and carefully review the listing form for errors or additionals fields that you wish to complete. As you will see, most fields will be completed by Crosslist already.
You can now finalize the listing process by clicking the relevant List, Submit or Post button for each of the marketplaces.
CONSIDERATIONS
When direct cross listing, all listings are automatically imported in the background as well. This means that they will available in the Crosslist web application. Each imported listings will consume exactly one credit.
Importing and posting
The second method to cross list products between marketplaces is by first importing them into the Crosslist web application. Afterwards, they can be posted on multiple marketplaces from within the web application.
Step 1: Import your listings
The first step involves importing your listings into the web application. This can be done in two ways:
- Via the bulk import tool in the web application
- From the listing overview on the marketplace you are cross listing from
Bulk import tool
The bulk import tool is the quickest way to import a large amount of listings into the web application. By using the bulk import tool, you can import up to 20 listings simultaneously into Crosslist in a matter of seconds.
To do so, simply navigate to the listing overview in the web application and click the Import listings button at the top right of your screen:

Now, select the marketplace you want to import from. In our case, this is Mercari:

Crosslist will now automatically fetch and display all the active, unsold listings on that marketplace:

You can now select up to 20 listings to import at once into Crosslist. You can use the pagination at the bottom right of your screen to navigate through your inventory.
CONSIDERATIONS
This feature is only available for users with a Silver subscription or higher. Users with a Bronze subscription can import each listing individually by navigating to the listing detail page (see below).
In addition to that, it is currently not possible to import listings from Facebook Marketplace using the bulk import tool.
From the listing overview
Importing from the listing overview is designed for users looking to import specific listings into Crosslist rather than their full inventory. This is particularly useful because you can then use the built-in search engine of the marketplace you’re importing from.
This provides you with more flexilibility to import your listings than with the bulk import tool, which is designed to import many listings simultaneously without much filtering.
To get started, simply navigate to the listing overview of the marketplace you want to import from and select the listings you want to import:

Afterwards, click the Import products button to import your listings into the web application.
CONSIDERATIONS
This feature is only available for users with a Silver subscription or higher. Users with a Bronze subscription can import each listing individually by navigating to the listing detail page.
Alternatively, you can also import directly from the listing detail page:

Step 2: Post your listings
After importing your listings, you can now post them from within the web application. Please refer to this article for more information with regards to posting.
