Depop is an online marketplace where users can buy and sell second-hand items. When you sell an item on Depop, there are several fees you should be aware of:

  • Transaction fee (only outside US or UK)
  • Payment processing fee

There is no listing fee on Depop.

In the US and UK, Depop Payments, powered by Stripe, is used to process transactions. Depop Payments charges a payment processing fee of 3.3% + $0.45 in the US or 2.9% + £0.30 in the UK.

Outside of the US and UK, Depop also charges a 10% transaction fee on the total sale amount. As Depop Payments is not available outside the US and the UK, PayPal is used to process transactions. The payment processing fee is therefore dependent on your local PayPal fee structure.

The payment processing fee is dependent on whether the seller uses Depop Payments or PayPal to process the payment for an item.

If the seller uses Depop Payments, Depop charges a payment processing fee of 3.3% + $0.45 in the US. In the UK, the payment processing fee is 2.9% + £0.30. If the seller uses PayPal, the fee varies based on your local PayPal fee structure.
