Etsy charges several types of fees to sellers who use its platform to sell their handmade, vintage, or craft items. These fees include:
- Listing fee
- Transaction fee

Etsy charges a $0.20 fee for each item listed on its platform. The listing fee is non-refundable, and it must be paid upfront when the seller lists an item for sale.
Outside the United States, the fee is:
- Canada: C$0.20
- United Kingdom: £0.20
- European Union: €0.19
Etsy charges a 6.5% transaction fee on the total cost of the item, including the shipping fee. The transaction fee is applied to the seller’s account when the item is sold. This fee is the same across all regions.
If a seller uses Etsy’s payment processing system to process the payment for an item, Etsy charges a payment processing fee of 3% + $0.25 on the total price of the item, including the shipping fee.
Outside the United States, the fee is:
- Canada: 3% + C$0.25 if seller is domestic, otherwise 4% + C$0.25
- United Kingdom: 4% + £0.20
- European Union: 4% + €0.30
