Although a reduction in your Grailed sales is a normal part of online selling, it can feel pretty nerve-wracking when it’s happening to you. This is especially true if you’ve already tried a bunch of promotion strategies (listing "bumps," price reductions, social media promotions) to no avail.
What else can you do without shelling out a ton of money on paid ads? Relisting your stale listings on Grailed. Not only is it free, but a solid Grailed relist strategy can give you a serious bump in your sales.
Let’s explore how to relist on Grailed (both manually and with a Grailed relisting tool like Crosslist) and why.
Key takeaways
Relisting on Grailed means swapping a stale listing for a fresh one, which pushes it back to the top where Grailed's algorithm favors newer listings.
It's a free way to win back views and sales without lowering your prices.
Relist a listing once it's gone quiet, but space it out so your feed doesn't read as spam.
Doing it by hand works for one or two items, but it burns hours once you're refreshing dozens a week.
Crosslist delists and reposts your Grailed listings in bulk in minutes, and its autodelist removes sold items everywhere so you don't double-sell.
What is Grailed relisting?
Before we dive into the why and how of Grailed relisting, here’s a quick refresher on what it is. Relisting on Grailed is the process of swapping out your old, stagnant listings with new ones. Both the old and new listings are for the same products. Think of it as throwing out old, expired stock and replacing it with newer stock of the same product.
Why is relisting even necessary in the first place if you’re just going to create identical listings? That’s because, like certain physical products, your listings expire, too. That often looks like zero views, likes, or sales. When that happens, relisting your products on Grailed brings them to the front of the shelf again, helping them get more attention.
Grailed also automatically deletes your listings once they cross the one-year mark. This is done to keep the listings on the platform fresh and uncluttered. In such cases, relisting on Grailed becomes a necessity.
You can either relist on Grailed manually, or use a tool like Crosslist to automate it for you, but more on that below.
Two things often get mixed up here. Grailed has a built-in bump that nudges an existing listing back up the feed, but it's capped (more on that below).
Relisting is different: you delete the old listing and post it fresh, so Grailed treats it as a brand-new item. Just delete before you repost, since Grailed can remove duplicate listings of the same product.
Benefits of relisting on Grailed
A Grailed relist gives your stale and forgotten listings a new lease on life; a second chance to get the visibility it deserves and make sales. This is because the Grailed algorithm prioritizes newer listings, promoting it first to shoppers. A relisting is considered a new listing, so this strategy works.
While lowering your prices also increases your visibility, relisting on Grailed is the better move if you'd rather not drop your prices.
Here are the benefits of a Grailed relist in detail:
SEO boost: Since Grailed’s algorithm likes fresh listings, your relisted products will show up at the top of search results. If you sell fancy footwear, then anybody searching for fancy footwear will see your listings at the top. This translates to more visibility, which increases your chances of making sales.
More visibility: Any user who has saved your profile or your product category among their personalized “Feed” will see your new listings. This means you’re directly reaching your potential customers, which, again, increases your odds of selling.
Inventory refresh: In relisting old items that have gone stale, you get a chance to update their details to reflect the current market trends. Not only does this refresh your inventory, it also lets buyers know that you’re actively selling.
More sales: When you relist and put your products in front of more (and newer) users, it often leads to more sales.
When should you relist on Grailed?
The general rule of thumb is to relist an item once it's clearly gone stale, meaning it's stopped pulling views, likes, or offers. For many listings that's after a month or two, but there's no fixed timer; let the engagement, or lack of it, be your signal.
Apart from that, you can (and probably should) do a Grailed relist if:
You notice that the engagement on your listings has dropped steeply. This means little to no views, shares, likes, or interest of any kind over a stretch of time
You haven't made a single sale from certain listings over a period of time
You want to make changes to your product description, prices, tags, photos, or the items themselves. This could be because you updated your product, or simply because you thought your listings needed a polish
You notice that your listings have aged beyond a year and have been deleted by Grailed, but you still have the item(s) in stock
You have listed multiple variants of a product, but a few of them have had no luck in the sales department
You sell seasonal or holiday items and peak season is rolling around, increasing demand
If you list the same pieces elsewhere, see our full relist and delist walkthrough.
How often should you relist on Grailed?
While relisting is a great (free) way to win back attention on stale listings, Grailed isn't built for refreshing the same items on repeat. Here's how its bump feature actually works: in a listing's first 30 days, you can bump it once every 7 days. After 30 days, you can only bump again if you drop the price by at least 10%.
Because of those limits, Grailed is less suited to aggressive relisting than marketplaces like Vinted or Poshmark. So be selective. Lean on strategic price drops, sharper photos, and stronger keywords first, and fully relist a stale item when you have a clear reason to give it a genuine fresh start.
Buyers feel the difference too. They open the app expecting new products, so a feed full of the same items on a loop reads like you have no new stock. Aim to refresh genuinely stale listings while steadily posting new ones, rather than recycling the same products over and over.
How to relist on Grailed manually
Follow this easy step-by-step process to relist on Grailed right from the platform.
Step 1: Log in to your Grailed account and navigate to the listing you want to refresh.
Step 2: Copy all the listing details into a separate document and delete the original listing from Grailed.
Step 3: Create a new listing on Grailed and populate it with the details you copied over from the old one. If you choose to, you can also update any of the details to better represent the current selling climate.
Step 4: Post the listing.
While this process works for a single Grailed listing (or two), it's not really practical for relisting multiple items in one go. And if you're a serious seller who wants to make use of every strategy available to grow your sales, having a relisting strategy in place is a must-have. Depending on the volume of your business, this could mean relisting hundreds of listings every week.
If you have 300 active listings and decide to refresh, say, 30 stale ones in a batch, and each Grailed relist takes you 15 minutes by hand, that's more than 7.5 hours of manual work for a single round. Quite.. a lot.
This is where Crosslist comes in. By automating the entire Grailed relisting process for you, it frees up hours of your time which can be used on strategy to grow your business. Oh, and a Grailed relisting tool only takes minutes to refresh your listings in bulk!
Here's a quick comparison of the two processes:
Relisting manually on Grailed | Relisting with Crosslist |
Very time-consuming; will take hours every week | Quick and easy; only takes minutes |
Energy-intensive; wastes energy that would be better used on business strategy | Doesn't take up any energy as it only needs the click of a few buttons |
High chance of error | Error-free |
Bottom line: Using Crosslist to put your Grailed relist strategy on autopilot is the smarter, less energy-intensive choice.
We'll guide you through how it works.
Autodelist: what happens when an item sells?
One thing many relisting guides don’t talk about is what happens after an item sells on Grailed.
If you’re selling the same item across multiple marketplaces, a sale on one platform does not automatically remove it from the others. Until you manually delist the item everywhere else, it can still be purchased by another buyer, without you noticing.
If it happens, you've double-sold. You’re forced to cancel an order, issue a refund, and potentially deal with negative feedback or marketplace penalties. The more platforms you sell on, the easier it becomes to lose track of inventory manually.
This is why autodelist exists. Cross listing tools like Crosslist can detect when an item sells on any connected marketplace and automatically remove the listing from every other platform. That means less manual checking, fewer mistakes, and a much lower risk of double-selling.
Note: for some marketplaces, this requires your desktop app or browser extension to be running in the background.
These solve two different problems: relisting refreshes stale inventory to boost visibility, and autodelist protects sold inventory from double-selling. If you're selling on more than one marketplace, you need both.
How to relist on Grailed in bulk (with Crosslist)
Here, we walk you through a simple 4-step process that shows how to use Crosslist. The biggest benefit of this method is that the whole process only takes a few minutes!
Before we begin, though, you need to sign up for a Crosslist subscription (if you don't have one already). All of our plans are affordable, and we offer a 3-day money-back guarantee (as long as you've relisted 20 or fewer listings), so you can try out Crosslist risk-free.
Ready with your Crosslist account? Let’s dive in.
Step 1: Import your existing Grailed inventory to Crosslist
The whole Grailed relist process is going to take place inside Crosslist, so your existing inventory needs to be brought into the tool. If you’ve already been using Crosslist and have your Grailed inventory populated here, then feel free to skip ahead to step 2.
The rest of you: Log in to your Crosslist account and go to the dashboard. Find the Import button, which is at the top left corner of the screen, and click on it.

A pop-up with all the marketplaces supported by Crosslist will appear on the screen.
Since you’re going to be importing your listings from Grailed, choose that platform from the list.

A yellow sync button will appear, indicating that Crosslist is syncing your Grailed inventory, getting it ready to be brought in. Give Crosslist a few minutes to prepare your listings, especially if you have a large inventory.
Once complete, you’ll see a list of your Grailed listings on the screen. The next step is selecting the ones you want to import.
You can do this in one of two ways:
1. Import your full Grailed inventory in one go, regardless of the volume of your inventory
This option is ideal for you if you have a big inventory and plan on relisting all of your existing Grailed listings, either now or in the future. This way, even if you relist only a few listings now, you won’t have to repeat this step again the next time you relist. In short, importing everything now will save you a lot of time, making the Grailed relist process even quicker in the future.
Doing this also makes it easier for you to manage your inventory within Crosslist. If you ever want to cross post your Grailed listings to other platforms, you can do so with the click of a few buttons with Crosslist.
But, can Crosslist import a large inventory in bulk? Yes, it can! Whether you have 30 listings or 300, Crosslist is capable of importing it all in one go.
2. Import your listings in batch (with each batch supporting a maximum of 100 listings)
You should pick this option if there are certain existing Grailed listings that you’re never going to relist. Maybe you’re waiting on some inventory before you can relist certain items, or maybe you’re going to sunset certain products. In these cases, you can exclude those listings and import the rest.
Use Crosslist’s advanced search bar to search for and select the listings you want to bring in. To prevent yourself from accidentally importing the same listings twice, toggle the Only show listings not yet imported switch.
After you’ve made your selection, click the Import button to bring your Grailed inventory to Crosslist.
Step 2: Navigate to the listing overview on Crosslist
Once you import your Grailed inventory to Crosslist, you'll be able to see all of your listings at a glance on the dashboard. This is the listing overview.
Here are the details you'll see about each listing:
SKU number (if one is available)
Listing title
Preview image of the product
Original date on which the listing was created
Origin of the listing, i.e. whether it was first created on Crosslist or outside. If you imported your listings from Grailed using step 1, the origin will be Grailed. If you created the listings within Crosslist, that's what the origin will be
All the marketplaces you have listed your items on
Any labels and tags you've added to your listings to make filtering easy

Since we’re only going to relist your Grailed listings, we’re going to filter out any other listings from the dashboard.
If you just imported your Grailed inventory through step 1, use the Origin tab to only show the listings that originated from Grailed. If you were already a Crosslist user who had your Grailed listings on Crosslist already, tweak the Listed on tab to only show the items that are currently active on Grailed.
💡 Instead of just relisting on Grailed, editing or updating your listings can give them a fresher look, make sure they reflect the current market trends, and increase your chances of success. You can update any part of the listings, such as price, title, description, tags, or photos.
a) To edit the prices of your listings in bulk, use Crosslist’s price markup feature. Go to Account settings → Price markup, and enter a number or percentage in the box beside Grailed. For example, if you enter an absolute number, like $10, the prices of all of your Grailed listings will increase by $10. If you enter a percentage, like 5%, your Grailed item prices will increase by 5%. If you want to reduce your prices, use a negative number or percentage.
b) To make the same type of edits to a large number of listings, use Crosslist’s templates to make the changes and apply it to all of the required listings. Check out this guide on editing listings in bulk with templates for a detailed breakdown.
Step 3: Select the listings you want to relist on Grailed
From the dashboard, select all of the listings you want to relist on Grailed. If the plan is to relist everything in one go, simply select all by checking the box at the top of the first listing.
Relisting on Grailed is, technically, a two-step process. First comes the delisting, or deletion of the existing listings. The relisting process, or the re-uploading of the new listings, is actually the second step.
However, when you use a product relister for Grailed like Crosslist, the delisting process is automatically taken care of. So, you don’t have to worry about doing it separately.
Crosslist can also delist and relist your entire inventory in bulk, all within minutes.

Once you’ve made your selection, click on the Bulk post (x) listings button at the top right corner of the screen.
You’ll see the same pop-up with all the marketplaces supported by Crosslist. Select Grailed from the list.
Step 4: Click the “Relist” button
On the same pop-up, you’ll see a Relist button at the bottom. Click on it, and your Grailed relist is done!

Crosslist will automatically delete your existing Grailed listings and replace them with fresh ones. No more manual intervention needed from your side.
With Crosslist, you also don’t have to worry about your Grailed account being flagged for crossing rate limits. Crosslist uses a queuing system to distribute listings at periodic intervals. This means it won’t turn your computer sluggish, either.
Relisting a single listing on Grailed
Whether you want to do a bulk Grailed relist, or only relist a single listing, the above method works great. But, there’s also an easier method for when you only want to refresh one listing.
Go to the listing overview and select the listing you want to relist.
Click on it, and the listing details page will open up. Make any changes you want to the listing.
From the list of marketplaces on the left side, select Grailed.
Click on the Relist button at the bottom of the screen. That’s it!

Grailed relisting tool: why Crosslist?
Crosslist is more than a Grailed relisting tool. It handles the repetitive work of relisting in bulk so you can focus on sourcing and selling, and it does a lot more once you're set up.
Fill out one dynamic form and post to every major marketplace at once. No separate form per platform, the way most cross listing apps still make you do it.
Relist, edit, and manage your inventory straight from your phone with the mobile app. Source items in the morning, relist them on the bus, check your sales over coffee.
When an item sells on any connected marketplace, Crosslist detects the sale and removes the listing everywhere else with autodelist. No double-selling, no cancelled orders, no refunds you didn't see coming.
Don't feel like rewriting descriptions during a relist? Upload your photos and Crosslist generates complete listings with AI, including titles, descriptions, condition, and competitive pricing. The AI photo editor cleans up images and removes backgrounds in bulk, with unlimited removals on every plan.
And because Crosslist supports the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, you can expand into regional marketplace variants most competitors can't reliably handle.
Here's what sellers say:
“This is a game changer. Keeps all inventory in one place, easy to delist and relist. Not just for huge resellers, it has saved me so much time and increased my sales. It pays for itself many times over.”
— Lorraine F., Trustpilot

Relisting is just one way to keep your Grailed sales moving. Try Crosslist risk-free with our 3-day money-back guarantee.

That’s it!
