Frequently asked questions.

Crosslist allows sellers to list quickly on the world’s largest online marketplaces. Create your listings with our beautiful application and then list to all of your favorite marketplaces at once. Alternatively, you can also import existing listings to crosspost these to other marketplaces.

To learn more, have a look at our “How It Works” section which gives a quick overview of what Crosslist does.

Please refer to our “How It Works” section which contains a walkthrough with animated pictures.

Yes. Crosslist is accessibility software that works in the same way as the autocompletion feature in your browser. In addition, the software is specifically designed in such a way that it cannot be used to spam or disrupt any marketplace. As a result, we operate within the Terms of Service of all supported marketplaces.

Furthermore, Crosslist will never ask you for any of your marketplace login information.

We believe that Crosslist differs from the competition in the following ways:

  • Full support. Unlike some competitors, we support every field of each marketplace. This includes fields like category, size and brand.
  • Quick cross listing. Crosslist allows you to quickly transfer inventory between marketplaces, either via direct cross listing or by importing and posting.
  • Dynamic fields. We only show the fields that are relevant to the marketplaces you’re interested in. For example, if you are only interested in selling on Poshmark and Depop, we will not show fields that exist exclusively on Mercari. This helps you save time filling in unnecessary fields.
  • Mobile support. Our application allows users to take pictures from their phones and immediately upload them to Crosslist. This saves time copying images from your phone to your computer. Once you’re done taking your pictures, you can then use our web application to post your listings to your desired marketplaces.
  • Enhanced images. Crosslist allows you to enhance your images using our built-in image editing tool. This way, you can add filters or captions to your pictures or hide your face if you’re posing with your apparel.
  • Beautiful design. We believe our application stands out from the competition in terms of design, accessibility and speed.

We currently support the following marketplaces:

(*) For Facebook, direct cross listing in bulk, as described in this article, is not available. However, importing and posting in bulk is supported.

For creating, preparing and saving your listings:

All browsers are supported, including mobile browsers.

For importing/cross listing/posting your listings:

Posting your listings requires our browser extension. Therefore, we only support Google Chrome on Microsoft Windows or OS X.

Exception: bulk importing for eBay is supported on mobile.

Yes, but only for certain functionalities.

Creating listings and managing your inventory can be done from any device. You can even take pictures of your products directly using your phone’s integrated camera.

Posting, cross listing and importing requires you to use a computer with Google Chrome and our extension installed. This means that cannot post or import listings using your mobile phone. This is currently not possible because mobile browsers do not allow extensions.

Exception: bulk import from eBay is supported on mobile.

In order for Crosslist to work optimally, we require that you have a functional and stable internet connection.

While our application has been thoroughly tested using the FCC Broadband Standard of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload, customers have reported that Crosslist works just as well under slower speeds.

Overall, we would recommend making sure that you have at least 5 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload in order for Crosslist to function correctly.

You can test the speed of your internet here.

With regards to computer hardware, any modern computer with the latest version of Google Chrome installed should be sufficient.

Note that you can always use our 3-day money-back guarantee to test Crosslist’s performance in your specific situation.

While Crosslist currently does not offer a free trial, Crosslist does provide you with a 3-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase (full amount minus our payment partner’s processing fees), as long as you have not created or imported 20 listings or more, either through manual creation or through import.

The processing fees are as follows:

  • Bronze: $ 1.99 (monthly) or $3.49 (quarterly)
  • Silver: $1.99 (monthly) or $3.49 (quarterly)
  • Gold: $1.99 (monthly) or $3.49 (quarterly)

Note that if you post a listing to multiple marketplaces, only one listing credit will be consumed.

The reason for the limitation is to prevent customers from cross listing their entire inventory and subsequently requesting a refund.

Crosslist strives to offer plans with competitive pricing that suit different needs.

Please refer to our Pricing for a detailed breakdown.

Currently, we only accept credit cards from the major providers. All of our payments are handled by our payment partner, Stripe.

To obtain a refund, you must contact our customer service so we can review whether you are eligible for a refund under these terms of service. Please note that merely cancelling your plan is not sufficient as that will only set your subscription to cancel at the end of the billing period.

Please refer to our Terms of Service and Refund Policy for more information.

You may cancel your account at any time by managing your subscription in your account dashboard.

If you cancel your plan, your account will be active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will be disabled. You will not be charged again.

No. You’ll only pay the difference (applied pro-rata based on duration). This means that if you buy a Bronze plan and you immediately upgrade to the Gold plan, you’ll only pay the difference between the prices of both plans upon upgrading.

When downgrading, the downgrade will only be active at the next billing cycle. This means that if you buy a Gold plan now, and you downgrade to a Bronze, the Bronze will become active at the next billing cycle, and you’ll only be charged the price of the Bronze plan.

Yes, but only for the Bronze and Silver plans.

The Bronze and Silver plan let you create/import 50 and 200 listings (credits) per month respectively. The Gold plan comes without limits. You can keep track of this using the counter in your listings overview. Each time you create or import a listing, one credit will be consumed.

Note that your created/imported listings will never expire and will be kept in your inventory for the duration of your subscription.

Posting is always unlimited. This means that if you create or import a product, you can (re)list it on multiple marketplaces as many times as you want.

Note that direct cross listing via our extension will consume just 1 credit, even if you select multiple marketplaces. The listing will also be added to your inventory for future use.

Note that direct cross listing the same product in different actions will still only consume 1 credit. This is exclusive to direct cross listing. Importing the same product repeatedy will always consume one credit per import.

Yes, we do.

The affiliate commission is 30% of the revenue from each referred user for all payments, indefinitely. The affiliate commission is subject to change at our discretion.

Your affiliate commission is considered to be accrued after 3 weeks of the initial purchase.

Once your commission is considered to be accrued, it will be paid out in the first week of the month that follows the month in which the accrual took place.

Example 1: if a referred user is charged on August 1, 2023, your commission will become accrued on August 22, 2023. It will then be paid out in the first week of September.

Example 2: if a referred user is charged on August 29, 2023, your commission will become accrued on September 19, 2023. It will then be paid out in the first week of October.

We’ve decided to partner with Wise to distribute affiliate commissions. Wise is an upcoming fintech company that allows you to send and receive money worldwide.

Wise’s transaction fees are much lower than PayPal while offering a better user experience.

If a referred user is granted a refund under our 3-day money-back guarantee, your affiliate commission will be forfeited.

If a referred user submits a chargeback, your affiliate commission will also be forfeited.
